Track 24 – I Got Gum Stuck on My Shoe

One evening, I was taking a walk just about sunset, and I stepped into a large piece of bubble gum. As I lifted my foot up, it felt like I had a rubber band tied around my shoe, and as I tapped my foot up and down to try and get rid of the “sticky”, this tune came to me. So, I just stayed there, tapping my foot up and down, and when I was finished with the tune, I took my shoe off and bobbled home. Here’s to those unwanted surprises in life that we didn’t expect but made the most of. Whenever one of those events happens to me, I just say to myself: “I Got Gum Stuck On My Shoe!” and deal with it.
